What are the 5 Reiki Principles?

Just For Today......

The Reiki principles serve as ideals to add balance and peace to your life. They help us manage our thought patterns and reactions so that we can establish control in negative situations. Eventually, this way of thinking becomes a habit and helps you to develop our life purpose, awakening, gratitude and compassion. 

These principles are: 

  • Just for today, I will not worry
  • Just for today, I will be angry
  • Just for today, I will do my work honestly
  • Just for today, I will give thanks for my many blessings
  • Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing. 

Ideally, try to meditate on these principles every day and monitor how things change for you. You could try reading them each morning and night and you may also want to carry them with you. 

If like me, you prefer a more positive slant on your focusing and manifesting affirmations, you may want to reword these principles as follows: 

  • For all of today, I will trust
  • For all of today, I will love
  • For all of today, I will be true to myself and others
  • For all of today, I will give thanks for my many blessings
  • For all of today, I will be kind to all living things.
